La Ley 1\/2000, de 7 de Enero, de Enjuiciamiento Civil, exige que sean Licenciados en Derecho, Graduado en Derecho u otro t\u00edtulo universitario de grado equivalente.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El art\u00edculo 23 de la Ley de Enjuiciamiento Civil establece en su segundo p\u00e1rrafo que no ser\u00e1 necesaria la figura del Procurador en los siguientes casos:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Juicios Verbales<\/strong>&nbsp;determinados por raz\u00f3n de la cuant\u00eda, cuando no exceda de 2,000\u20ac.<br><\/li><li><strong>Peticiones iniciales del Procedimiento Monitorio<\/strong>&nbsp;(proceso cuyo objeto es el pago de deudas).<br><\/li><li><strong>Juicios Universales<\/strong>&nbsp;para la presentaci\u00f3n de t\u00edtulos de cr\u00e9dito o derechos, o para concurrir a juntas.<br><\/li><li>Impugnaci\u00f3n de resoluciones de&nbsp;<strong>Asistencia Jur\u00eddica Gratuita<\/strong>.<br><\/li><li>Solicitud de&nbsp;<strong>medidas de car\u00e1cter urgente<\/strong>&nbsp;antes de la celebraci\u00f3n del juicio.<br><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>A\u00fan cuando no sea obligatorio, el&nbsp;<strong>Procurador puede intervenir siempre que el cliente lo considere necesario<\/strong>&nbsp;y sin necesidad de abogado, siempre que se limite a o\u00edr y recibir actos de comunicaci\u00f3n, as\u00ed como efectuar comparecencias de car\u00e1cter no personal del cliente que haya sido notificado. (P\u00e1rrafo 3 del art\u00edculo 23 de la Ley de Enjuiciamiento Civil)&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los Procuradores tambi\u00e9n se ocupan de los&nbsp;<strong>actos procesales de comunicaci\u00f3n<\/strong>, as\u00ed como las&nbsp;<strong>funciones de auxilio y cooperaci\u00f3n<\/strong>&nbsp;con los Tribunales. Deben tener capacidad de certificaci\u00f3n y contar con las credenciales necesarias.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El Procurador viene a ser una especie de intermediario entre los Tribunales y las partes.
